지난 10월 17일부터 19일까지 강원도 인제군 인제스피디움에서는 TCR 월드 투어(TCR World Tour) 자동차 경주 대회가 열렸습니다. TCR 월드 투어는 국제자동차연맹(FIA) 공인 규정에 따라 치러지는 국제적 규모의 자동차 경주 중 하나입니다. TCR은 일반 도로를 달리는 승용차를 바탕으로 만든 경주차로 치르는 경주 즉 투어링 카 경주(Touring Car Race)를 뜻하는데, TCR 월드투어 경기가 국내에서 개최된 것은 이번이 처음입니다. 사실 투어링 카 경주는 TCR 외에도 여러 종류가 있습니다. 하지만 TCR이라는 이름으로 치러지는 경주에는 규정상 배기량 1.75~2.0L인 터보 엔진을 얹은 앞바퀴 굴림 방식 4도어 세단과 5도어 해치백 승용차를 개조한 경주차만 출전할 수 있..
